Identifying Components of a Complex Topic

Once you have formulated your research topic, you must break out the various components of that topic. Then break those components into the simplest wording that still conveys the essential idea.

Example:

Research Topic: Are there security systems that can help safeguard privacy on the Internet?

Components: Are there security systems that can help safeguard privacy on the Internet?
