Art/Architecture: Art Organizations on the Internet

Professional Organizations

Arts/Artists Advocacy Organizations

  • American Arts Alliance. This organization is the principal advocate for America's professional nonprofit arts organizations, representing arts interests to Congress and to the Federal government. The page contains updates on recent advocacy efforts, advocacy materials, and general information about government support of the arts.
  • Inter-Society for the Electronic Arts (ISEA). Umbrella organization for electronic arts organizations and individuals like artists and scientists.
  • National Endowment for the Arts. "Provides national recognition and support to significant projects of artistic excellence."
  • National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts. Assists emerging artists with scholarships and grants and raises appreciation for the arts in American society.
  • Save Outdoor Sculpture (SOS). A public and private initiative to document every piece of publicly accessible outdoor sculpture in the United States and to raise awareness of sculpture preservation.
