Problem: Printer A on the first floor is currently out of service.
Date/Time: Tuesday, 4/24
Status: OIT has been notified. Parts will need to be ordered.
Alternatives: All print jobs on the first floor should be sent to printer B or any other public printer in the library, including the one in the copy center.

Problem: E-Reserves documents accessible through Blackboard are currently unavailable to AU students.

Status: WRLC technicians are working to fix the problem.

| Double-sided Printing Unavailable in Reserves Lab - RESOLVED 10/4/06 |
Problem: The duplexing unit in the Reserves Lab public printer is not working, therefore double-sided printing is unavailable.
Date/Time: Thursday 8/31, 4:30 pm
Status: A replacement duplexing unit is being ordered.
Alternatives: Double-sided printing is still available in the E-classroom and from both printers on the first floor.

| UNIPRINT Printing System Outage - RESOLVED 9/26/05 |
Problem: The University's UNIPRINT Printing System is down.
Date/Time: Wednesday 9/20, 10:00 am
Status: The UNIPRINT staff are working on fixing the problem.
Alternatives: Printing is unavailable across campus. Users in the library may choose to print documents to the printer named "Copy Center" and retrieve their print jobs from the Copy Center on the lower level. The Copy Center accepts cash, credit card or EagleBuck$ but not the student printing allotment for job payment.

Problem: Power supply to the voyager server was lost and, as a result, access to OPAC, Aladin, and Voyager clients is not available.

Status: WRLC is working to fix the problem and hopes to have all systems back up by 9:30am.

Problem: Due to database upgrade, the Envision server, which provides EagleBuck$ and One Card dining services is unavailable.
Date/Time: 3/7/05, 9:30 am - 5:30 pm
Systems/Locations Affected: All EagleBuck$ services on campus (printing, copying, dining, etc.) are down.
Status: The upgrade should be finished by 9:30 am on Tuesday 3/8/05. For more information call the University help desk at (202) 885-2550.

| Planned Public Access Network Outage - RESOLVED 3/7/2005 |
Problem: The Systems team will be performing maintenance on our Windows 2000 servers which will result in a network outage.
Date/Time: 3/7/05, 8 am - 5 pm
Systems/Locations Affected: Internet access and printing on library public access computers will not be available.
Alternatives: Public computers in the e-classroom and the reserves cluster will not be affected by this outage and our wireless network will also be available. Patrons can use any of the campus' other computer labs if the library labs are full.

| Library Public Computers are Unable to Access AU Websites - RESOLVED 2/18/2005 |
Problem: The Library's public computers are currently unable to access any AU-based websites. This includes the AU homepage, the my.american portal and the blackboard system. The workstations are also currently unable to print.
Date/Time: 2/18/2005 5 pm - ??
Systems/Locations Affected: Public access computers in the library. The e-classroom and reserves clusters are not affected.
Alternatives: The catalog is accessible directly at http://www.aladin.wlrc.org. Computers in Anderson Computing Complex and other campus labs are not affected by this outage.
Status: WRLC is working on their servers to remedy the problem.

Problem: Internet access is unavailable from the library OPACs.

Systems/Locations Affected: All library public access computers. Computers in the e-classroom and the reserves clusters are not affected by this outage. Computers in the Anderson Computing complex are also working fine.
