How to Find Something on Reserve

What are Reserves? | Print Reserves | Electronic Reserves

What are Reserves?

When a professor wants the entire class to read a book or an article without requiring all the students to purchase the material, the professor may put the item on Reserve. There are two types of Reserves.

  • Print Reserves
  • Electronic Reserves

The Professor may put physical copies of the item on Reserve. These "print reserves" may be checked out from the Reserves Desk in the lower level of the library. The Professor may make an electronic copy of the material available through the course Blackboard site.
