Adaptive Technology Resources

Three adaptive technology workstations are available in the Anderson Computing Complex. The workstations are located in B10, 12, and 13. The workstations in B10 and B12 are attached to scanners. The workstation in B10 is also connected to a Braille printer. Following is a list of the adaptive technology available, as well as the location:

• Alternate Input Devices: Kensington Expert Mouse, Kensington Orbit Trackball, and NoHands Mouse (available from the front desk)
• Dragon NaturallySpeaking Preferred (voice recognition software) - available at all 3 workstations
• JAWS for Windows (screen reading software) - available in B10
• OpenBook (optical character recognition software for visual impairments) - available in B10 and B12
• Versa Point Duo Interpoint Braille Embosser and Duxbury Braille Translation software - available in B10
• WYNN Wizard (optical character recognition software for learning disabilities) - available in the main area and in B12
• ZoomText Magnifier/ScreenReader - available at all 3 workstations
