What is Eagle Express?
Eagle
Express is a delivery service between Bender Library, the Washington
College of Law Library, and Wesley Seminary Library. Patrons of
Bender Library can request books or articles from WCL Library
or Wesley Library and have them delivered to Bender Library. WCL
and Wesley patrons can borrow books from Bender Library and have
them delivered to their respective libraries.
Who can use Eagle Express?
Eagle
Express is available to all AU students, faculty and staff and
Wesley students, faculty and staff.
How do I use Eagle Express?
For delivery to Bender Library, go to the online forms section of the Library web site. Find the links for Interlibrary Loan and choose either:

delivery to the Washington College of Law Library, go to the WorldCat
section of the WCL
Library web site. Search and place an interlibrary loan request
for items at the Bender Library just as you would for any other
interlibrary loan request. For delivery to Wesley Theological
Seminary, place an interlibrary loan request.
How soon will I get the book?
Books will generally be delivered withing two working days. Users can speed up the process by checking the catalog of the holding library to verify that the book is available before placing a request.
How will I know the book is ready for pick-up?
You will receive an e-mail indicating that the book is ready for pick-up.
Where can I pick up my books?
Book
delivered to Bender Library will be available for pick-up at the
Circulation Desk. Weekend and evening pick-ups can be accommodated
at the WCL Circulation Desk by contacting WCL
Interlibrary Loan at (202) 274-4327.
How do I renew my book?
On
or before the due date, you can contact the lending library. For
Bender Library books call 885-3282; for WCL books call 274-4327;
for Wesley books call 885-8695. If the book is overdue you must
return it. The book will NOT appear on your ALADIN account so
you cannot renew it online.
