Borrowing Laptops: Copy Center

The library now loans laptops from the Copy Center to current AU students, staff and faculty

Laptop Borrowing:

Loan period is 4 hours
Laptops may be borrowed by current students, faculty and staff
Laptops may not leave the library, nor should they be left unattended
If no one is waiting for a laptop, they may be renewed for an additional 4 hours
Laptops must be returned at least 1/2 an hour before the Copy Center closes
To borrow a laptop, you must sign an agreement accepting responsibility for the laptop while it is checked out to you
Fines will be charged for laptops and power cords that are returned late at the rate of $6.00 per hour, prorated to $0.10 per minute
Replacement fees will be charged for laptops lost or stolen while checked out to students

Overnight Laptop Borrowing:

Patrons may use a laptop overnight Sunday through Thursday when the library is open 24 hours.
Individuals wishing to borrow a laptop overnight must stipulate this at checkout.
Overnight laptops will be loaned from the copy center starting at 8pm.
Laptops checked out overnight must be returned to the Information Desk the next morning by 8:30AM.
