Using
Library Resources From Overseas
Accessing
ALADIN and myALADIN from Anywhere in the World
- On the World Wide Web, go to http://www.aladin.wrlc.org
- The WRLC Libraries Catalog already will be accessible
to you on the left side of the screen. The right
side of the screen will be blocked off, with a
place to log in.
- Enter either your ID number or your barcode (small
ten-digit number on your ID under an actual bar
code. Do not type the "a" or the "b" before and
after the number).
- The subject listing for the article databases
will appear as it usually does. You will be able
to access all the databases you can when you are
at AU. myALADIN will also be available by clicking on the myALADIN
text at the top of the screen.

Interlibrary
Loan/Document Delivery
From
overseas it is possible to request articles through
ALADIN. Most can be scanned and downloaded from
myALADIN in 2-3 business days. The articles are
in pdf format, so all that is required from the
computer you are using is a reader like Adobe Acrobat.
In
general, you can request articles by following the
instructions for CLS (searching for the journal title in place of a book
title). The only different instruction for overseas
use is to put Web Delivery
Only in the comments section of the request
form. This will let the library know that you need
articles that can be downloaded through myALADIN.
